Lighting Instructions
Hex are extremely dense and can be challenging to light if the instructions are not followed properly. We strongly recommend you arrange the Hex as shown below. An active starter such as a torch is ideal for lighting. If using traditional starters such as alcohol cubes or lighter fluid, we suggest doubling the quantity at each lighting point and placing Hex on a bed of kindling.
When properly light, Hex will glow end to end within 20 minutes, and be ready to use for cooking. Hex can be broken into smaller pieces once lit if desired.
